Senior Infrastructure Engineer - Networking, Storage, Servers : Job Summary
The Senior Infrastructure Engineer - Networking, Storage, Servers Engineer is responsible for completing technical deliverables on projects assigned.
He is a highly talented and motivated systems engineer who can contribute to the provisioning, implementation, and maintenance of our server and storage infrastructure within the Data Centers. The successful candidate must possess significant working knowledge with Cisco USC , vblock, f5 and Windows environments. Deep working knowledge of SAN and NAS environments running on EMC, and HP platforms is desired. A key objective of this role is operational improvements related to; recovery from outages, capacity management and OS provisioning. Through programming, scripting, and third party products the successful candidate is expected to improve operational aspects through automation. Candidates should be able to demonstrate communication and analytical skills, along with creative problem solving.
Lead engineer for technical deliverables on moderate to enterprise size Infrastructure Service Delivery or Client projects reporting directly to assigned Project Manager, or staff resource responsible for completing assigned deliverables on large scale global projects reporting directly to the Infrastructure Service Delivery Technical/Team Lead.

Qualified candidate will posses experience in hardware/software technologies in the infrastructure arena. The position will entail leading and directing other team members to build scalable and fault tolerant solutions. Candidate must be able to see and execute big picture from architecture perspective.
What You Will Be Doing
Engineering of the infrastructure environment
High availability technologies like load balancing, replication, active-active sites.
Server virtualization technologies
Authentication, Authorization and security technologies
Draft and maintain design/architecture documentation for equipment, processes for environment.
What You Need for this Position
5+ years of experience working within Data Center server and storage infrastructure
Building proactive monitoring
Ability to troubleshoot issues and work with vendors for solutions
Infrastructure planning and road mapping capacity and future needs
Ability to apply architecture standards and infrastructure engineering best practices.
One or more industry certifications in operating systems or hardware technologies
Flexibility and willingness to work at any of the data center locations
Willingness to work off hours when the situation requires
Self-starter with strong organizational skills, strong sense of teamwork, and attention to detail
Solid interpersonal communication and organizational skills required to operate as a contributing member of global technical teams that deliver quality services
Technical skills in designing, documenting, supporting, and implementing infrastructure projects
Fluent spoken and written English
Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical people
Rapid troubleshooting and repair of Data Center server and storage related issues
Participate in design discussions with system engineering teams
Develop and maintain excellent relationships with stakeholders across all business units.
Coordinate and participate in the implementation of emerging technologies and business initiatives.
Create, enhance, and maintain tools which improve operations for Data Center
Create and maintain clear and accurate guidelines and procedures related to ensuring the smooth and error-free operations of the Data Center infrastructure( active and passive components)
