SURE USB Token belongs to a new generation of IT security products, designed for cost effective use in IT security systems. It combines the security features of an advanced PKI solution on a secure hardware chip with the advantages of USB devices. The token is small, light, and so conveniently sized that it fits on a key chain. It requires no additional reader since it connects directly to the PC via USB interface.
The SURE Smart Token in both model, Normal and Fingerprint, is fully compatible with the Microsoft© CSP interface, and PKCS#11 standard interface. The token is 100% compatible with Microsoft CA running on windows 2000 and 2003 Servers.

Confidentiality
SURE Smart Token encrypts data so that only the user and those he/she authorizes can decrypt and read it.
Authentication
SURE Smart Token checks the digital signature of the person who signed the data to ensure that the data really came from that person. A digital signature is like a handwritten signature as both can guarantee someone’s identity.
Non-repudiation
SURE Smart Token, by providing digital signature capability, shows that only the person whose digital signature appears on a piece of data is the one who have signed that data. Therefore, a person cannot deny involvement in a legitimately signed transaction.
Integrity
SURE Smart Token ensures that protected data is unchanged. A valid digital signature on a piece of data shows that the data has not been altered since it was signed.

SURE smart token provides three different interfaces for developers to use, as follows:
1. Cryptography Service Provider (CSP) standard interface, provided by Microsoft
2. PKCS#11 standard interface, provided by RSA
3. Smart Token Specific Interface (SDK), provided by SURE.
CSP and PKCS#11 are the most commonly used interface, there are many documents and
applications description in addition to justifying their functionality.
SDK is a specific interface built especially to access all token functionalities, it is tuned for direct and fast accessing for all token operations.
