Executive Summary:

A tender had been issued by an enterprise customer to develop and improve his IT services including cable and network infrastructure, financial, HR, payroll, CRM systems, Intranet Portal, Forms automation and workflow, document management and in/out system, and Internet portal. Six large companies submitted their offers to this tender and after the assessments and negotiation processes, the customer selected SURE to implement the turn key project for its professional technical solutions, proposed project management methodology, and experience in large and mega projects.

Challenge:

The challenge was to find one vendor with a comprehensive turn key solution to fulfill the customer requirements. And to find the platform ready for current requirements and future needs and upgrades.

Solution:

SURE's comprehensive solution vision for the implementation of the project includes the following sections:

1. Cabling Infrastructure: We removed the old cables and replaced them with the latest cables available and layout them in a very professional way.

2. Network Infrastructure: This part consists of many areas including but not limited to new active directory, exchange 2007, ISA firewall, backup system, Anti virus system, main MS SQL database, etc…

3. HW and SW: Our solution includes delivering 10 high end servers with rack, UPS, and the other accessories. Also, we delivered the entire needed license from operating systems, to users CALs, to backup system, etc…

4. Financial, HR, Payroll and CRM: We preferred Microsoft technology for this area and chose MS Great Plains as a financial system, payroll, and HR, and MS CRM a CRM system.

5. Intranet Portal: We built the Intranet Portal on top of MOSS 2007. The portal is the main window for employees from where they can access their personal sites, department sites, access their email, calendar, and tasks, access the application they are working on, access some other services related to their work like HR forms, etc…

6. Forms, workflow, document management, and in/out system: We studied all available forms and workflows and we developed and integrate them with the Intranet. We used MOSS 2007 as our document management solution. And we used .NET based in/out system.

7.  Internet Portal: We used MOSS 2007 Internet version to develop the portal which includes a lot of services targeting deferent types of users.
